New Airdrie Web Site
Airdrie Resident's Web Site To Debut On The Web!
(Airdrie, Scotland, 21st August 1999) -- Airdrie resident Gerry Mcbride has created
"The Airdrie Page" - www.airdrie.net
- a site devoted specifically to Information and History of Airdrie. Gerry's web site also
provides links to other Airdrie enterprises as well as Scottish inks.
At a time when good domain names are becoming scarce, Gerry was also able to choose a
domain name that fit the content of "The Airdrie Page" by
utilising Freeservers' unique free domain name options
("http://www.freeservers.com/signup/").
Although The Airdrie Page is still new, having only been set up in May
1999, the site has already attracted over 700 visitors from around the world and includes
a Testimonials Page to provide comments from some of these visitors - and the word has
been spreading fast.
A Feedback Form and Message Board are available to enable visitors to share their thoughts
and knowledge on the town.
Although you can already visit the site - indeed, the site is already listed highly in the
main search engines - Gerry invites all Airdrie residents to come and help celebrate
the launch, and to check out the great "History of Airdrie" related content on
the web site.
To go to The Airdrie Page, simply type "http://airdrie.net" into your
web browser.
