CAVOC
CAVOC (Community and Voluntary Organisations Council) is the umbrella organisation representing and supporting community and voluntary organisations within the area formerly known as Motherwell district (Motherwell, Wishaw, Bellshill, Shotts and surrounding areas). CAVOC have recently relaunched their services with two new members, thanks to funding from the National Lotteries Charities Board.
Services on offer include :
- training
- office services
- database of local voluntary groups
- meeting rooms
- advice and information
- fundraising - advice and support
- representation to Local authority
- newsletter
CAVOC have recently helped many local groups with funding applications and staff were delighted when a large number of them were successful. Many local groups are unaware of the funds available and the problems in making applications, but that’s exactly where CAVOC can help.
Annual Membership for local organisations and groups costs just £6, and this entitles you to unlimited help and support, plus greatly reduced rates for our office services.
