I am trying to find relatives in Scotland. I decided to post a message on this website in the chance that some kind soul may read my message and be able to help me.

My Great Great Grandparents were Samuel McCullie (b.Abt 1830;d.1885-Airdrie,New Monkland,Lanark,SCOTLAND) and Jane BARR (b.Abt.1835;d.15 Mar 1895-Poorhouse Hospital, Airdrie,New Monkland,Lanark,SCOTLAND) My Great Grandparents were William McCully (b.Abt 1864) and Elizabeth Bell, Daughter of John Bell (Ploughman) & Janet Ballantyne Whose birth took place at Cleekhimmel on 26 June 1862 in the County of Lanark, Scotland My grandmother was Maggie Goldie McCully. Born on 13 May 1903 in Motherwell, Scotland. She migrated to Australia with her parents as a young girl. It is said she was the youngest of 14 children. I only have a record of 10 of her siblings: James Bell McCulley; Samuel McCully; Janet Bennie McCulley; Jeanie JcCully; John McCully; William McCulley; Duncan Bell McCully; Andrew Bell McCully; Donald Bell McCulley and Elizabeth McCulley.

My mother, Margaret McKenzie Horne, and I would like so much to be able to find any relations we may have in Scotland and be able to write to them and share information.

I hope to hear from someone...sometime....With thanks Karen Pickering 82 Wuth Street Darling Heights TOOWOOMBA QLD 4350 AUSTRALIA
